Baader is German company with roots stretching back to the 60's, specialising in the manufacture of astronomical accessories. Baader make some of the highest quality yet most reasonably priced equipment in the business, and are most famous for their deep-sky and CCD imaging filters, and of course "Astro Solar Film". This innovative thin-film solar filter material has revolutionised white light solar observing and imaging, due to it's very high optical quality, and low cost.
