Nagler 2-4 & 3-6mm Click Stop Zoom eyepieces
If you have a small portable travel refractor and want to use it at high power, this is the eyepiece to have. With it's variable focal length setting, you get several eyepieces in one unit.
This fantastic eyepiece is tack sharp across its constant 50 degree apparent field AND throughout its Zoom focal length range. It's excellent for high power planetary observing or examining small bright objects such as planetary nebulae or globular star clusters, where one wants to change the power setting as the seeing conditions permit.
The 3mm to 6mm Nagler Zoom is parfocal throughout its zoom range, and has a constant 10mm eye-relief. All this packed into a very small eyepiece!
The Televue Click Stop Zoom is available in a 3-6mm version and also 2-4mm for the ultimate in variable high power viewing.
Eye-Relief: 10mm
Apparent Field-of-View: 50ยบ
"I have clearly seen the Encke Gap on Saturn with the 3-6mm zoom eyepiece in the 18 - it's the first (and last time) I saw it too. What I really like about the Nagler Zoom is that you can "fine tune" the power to match atmospheric seeing conditions. When the seeing is poor, start with low power. As the air gets more stable, you just go up from there. It combines several planetary viewing eyepieces in one, making it great value. High contrast and a lack of scatter are other impressive features." - (Nick, Altair)
