The Minitower & MT Pro Adapter Puck lets you attach your Altair Small Vixen/Synta Dovetail Clamp (#SVDC series) OR Losmandy Clamp (#LSP1 series) to the following iOptron Mounts:

Minitower v1
Minitower v2
Minitower PRO

The upgraded clamp grips the dovetail plate or bar of your telescope safely and securely without damaging it.

Installation is easy - simply undo the four existing hex bolts on the existing mount, and replace your factory clamp with the Altair adapter. Then bolt your Altair Vixen-format or Losmandy-format dovetail clamp to the adapter, using the stainless screw provided.

The Altair Vixen and Losmandy dovetail clamps give a more secure grip along a precisely machined surface, and won't leave unsightly scratches and dents on your dovetail bar. Altair TMS is a precision machined modular Telescope Mounting System. Our aim is to provide a simple, safe and rigid mounting system for most types of telescope on the market, to give our customers the best possible results for astro imaging and visual observing. Made from the highest grade British aerospace 6068 T6 tempered and artificially aged aluminium, which has the highest strength in the 6000 series alloy range and is extremely corrosion resistant. All threads are stainless steel, and dovetail clamps are spring loaded with teflon washers.
