The iOptron® SmartEQ PRO is a new super-portable equatorial mount from iOptron, and is designed for "grab 'n go" imaging or visual use.

Born out of the industry leading iOptron GOTO technology, the Smart EQ PRO compact design and very light weight make this mount the perfect wide field imaging mount at a price to fit into any budget.

SmartEQ is a fully computerized mount with a database of 59,000 objects, offering the next generation GOTO technology from iOptron. The Go2Nova Hand Controller is intuitive with a large LCD screen, allowing you to set up your telescope and start finding objects quickly and easily.

The SmartEQ PRO is universally compatible with any telescope using a Vixen-format dovetail bar connection, or a DSLR camera mounted on a Vixen-format bar, using one of the readily available adapters on the market.

The PRO version of SmartEQ mount has an upgraded drivetrain with metal gearing, and includes an autoguider port and polar scope for easy alignment to the celestial pole for higher precision tracking.

We recommend a small wide-field 60 refractor telescope such as the new Altair 60mm ED Triplet, for the ultimate imaging friendly grab-n-go telescope.

This entitles you to two years of warranty support from date of purchase, provided you can produce the original sales invoice with that serial number on it and the serial number on the product isn't showing signs of tampering.
