The larger and heavier EQ6 goto mount handles an OTA of this size with smoothness and accuracy providing a sturdy imaging or observation platform. It has enough carrying capacity to add refractor such as an ED80 for guiding or wide field imaging as well as heavy cameras without affecting accuracy.
