The product arrived safely to Denmark in 2 days from the UK. Good delivery price. Good wide field eyepiece with my 250mm F5 reflector. Recommend it. Thanks Carl

Very nice quality eyepiece and a bit bigger than the photos show it. I prefer this to the Plossl which came with my telescope. The sky is darker and stars are more prominent. I've used it for birding and watching ships with the erect image diagonal which is very nice. Better than my others with a wider viewing area. Dan

The image is very bright and very sharp and the field of view is a lot bigger than the 55 degree eyepieces so it's easier to find things. The sharpness is noticeably better towards the field edges than with my plossl but it still shows up the field curvature of my refractor. If used with the Barlow lens the field curvature dissapears so I think its the telescope not the eyepiece. The packaging could be better, just a blue box without any markings.

I spoke at length to Ian and Nick at their trade stand (Kelling Heath April event) and eventually bought the Lightwave 18 and 9mm LER. These are really, really good and certainly deserve the premium description. The results in my refractor are exactly as Nick described, which were: Bright, sharp, no appreciable scatter, a very flat field to the edge, with very good eye relief. This was another pleasant buying experience and I buy most of my equipment from Ian and Nick based on their recommendations.
