Altair 1.0x M63 Flattener for Altair 80EDT Starwave Series Refractor

This field flattener is designed to work with the Altair Astro Starwave Series 80EDT FPL53 80mm F6 ED Triplet APO.

It consists of two components:

A) The flattener body containing the optics, with M63 male outer thread on the telescope side and M63 female inner thread on the camera side

B) An M63 to M48 adaptor-spacer with M63 male outer thread on the flattener side and M48 male outer thread on the camera side. The adaptor has a 36.65mm optical length, to give 55mm sensor to flange distance.  

If the included 36.65mm spacer is removed from the flattener body, an M63 female inner thread is revealed on the flattener body, and the total distance from the flange to sensor is now 91.65mm.

If you remove the include adaptor spacer, you can use any adaptor with an M63x1mm male outer thread on the telescope side, to connect to your equipment. Please raise a support ticket at www.altairastro.help for advice.
