Altair 50mm 2 inch Extension Tube Positive Lock

2" 50mm extension tube with a Positive Lock clamp.

Adds 50mm distance between telescope focuser and eyepiece or camera. Fits 2" focusers.

The positive locking collar prevents marring of your eyepieces or accessories by clamping them evenly.

Simply twist the ring to unlock the accessory.

The extension tube is threaded to accept standard 2" filters.

The positive locking collar can be unscrewed from the lower 2" barrel to reveal an M48 male thread, so it can be used for other adaptation purposes such as connecting filter wheels and M48 DSLR adapters to 2" focusers.

A thumbscrew is included for those who want to lock the collar in the closed position. This does not protrude through to the 2" item being clamped in place.
