This compact Newtonian is ideal for astrophotography. Due to the fast aperture ratio of f/4, this astrograph provides pure speed, and therefore short exposure times.

SkyWatcher EQ5 Synscan PRO Goto Equatorial Mount

The EQ5 Synscan has a bit more stability and capacity than the NEQ3 but less than the HEQ5. 
 
We therefore recommend it for customers who want a bit more stability than the NEQ3 delivers - say for visual use at high powers - but who don't require the photographic capabilities of the EQ5 or EQ6 Pro.
