Cable Saver Tidy for Altair Hypercam Fan Cooled Camera

This Altair designed cable saver / tidy has a unique snap-on gate with holes of varying sizes to suit power, USB and data cables.

Keeps your cables neat and tidy, stops USB cable and socket damage caused by flexing when cold.

Simply push it onto the back of your Hypercam Fan cooled camera, place the cables in position, and snap the gate shut. No need to remove it to rearrange the cables.

Two smaller cable guides are included. One has an M5/M6 compatible mounting hole for dovetail plates or telescope tube rings, and the other has a curved profile to fit most telescope tubes or Dewshields of about 200mm diameter or larger. Fits Altair 6-8" Newtonians, Celestron C8, RASA8, C925 Series SCT's and most other telescopes of similar size because there is a little flex in the base. To alter the curvature just use a hairdryer, warm it gently to about 150C and bend to the desired curvature.

Available in "Celestron Translucent Orange" and "Stardust Silver".

Tip: Use non-marking 3M "Command strips" to fasten the curved cable guide to your optical tube.

Made from high quality PETG plastic, solid printed with 100% infill and high quality settings on a professional quality 3D printer. Much better than the cheap hollow low resolution prints you get on eBay and suchlike.
