The EQ5 Synscan has a bit more stability and capacity than the NEQ3 but less than the HEQ5.
We therefore recommend it for customers who want a bit more stability than the NEQ3 delivers - say for visual use at high powers - but who don't require the photographic capabilities of the EQ5 or EQ6 Pro.
The mount can be upgraded with the optional GPS mouse, providing quicker more accurate setup. Please choose the option in the drowdown menu before ordering.
