The mini filter wheel with off-axis guide prism, is a compact solution for mobile imaging setups, or where the lightest possible wheel and guider are required.
In fact, it's the perfect companion to the portable iOptron Sky Guider if you're using a CCD camera.
The wheel is USB controlled and powered, with 5 filter positions, and the Off-Axis Guider (OAG) is pre-set to be close to par-focal with most Starlight Xpress SX series cameras.
The SX Lodestar, Costar, or SuperStar guide cameras are an ideal match to the OAG pick-off tube.
Product includes:
- Mini Filter wheel unit
- Integrated OAG unit with pickoff prism
- your choice of front and rear adapters
- your choice of 5x filter carousel, able to carry either 1.25" or 36mm unmounted filters
(Note: The image shows the filter wheel along with a Lodestar guide camera, which is not included unless ordered separately)
Additional adapter choices: The front and rear adapters can be swapped by using a small screwdriver to release three stainless screws and lifting off the adaptor flange. Each flange can be rotated to any angle before locking down, so that you can orient the wheel and camera into the optimum position. You can choose additional adapters in the adjacent product options fields.
