It has a similarly high QE and low thermal noise to the H814, but offers 9.19 megapixels of resolution. Each pixel is 3.69 x 3.69 uM in size.
This very high resolution makes the 814 particularly well suited to the short focal length scopes such as the Altair Lightwave 60ED, Lightwave 80ED and of course the Wave Series 80mm refractor, and it will perform well with these telescopes.
It's also well suited for use with 35mm and DSLR camera lenses by Nikon and Canon (contact us for various DSLR lens to CCD adapters, mounting solutions, and so-on)
Back focal length only 17mm +/-1mm.
The CCD sensor can be adjusted in tilt from the front of the camera.
